I was away for a semester studying in Accra, Ghana. I have to say that I've never met a friendlier group of people than in Ghana. Of course it is a generalization but there is something about Ghanaian culture that is much more lively and friendly. It's about respect and dignity, something that people don't care that much about here...

He leaned against the short wall shooting his gaze outward at the spoiled paths. After rising to the top, he seemed unaffected by both the poor state of his city and my presence.
